The first MLB game of “All Black Judges” will be held

For the first time in the history of the U.S. Major League Baseball, an all-black match will take place. All five black referees who are currently active in the Major League will participate.

The San Francisco Giants of the Major League Baseball (NL) will play at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama, the U.S., the home of the Nigro League, on Monday. The game is a tribute to the Nigro League, which has now been incorporated into MLB history.

Rickwood Field is the oldest baseball stadium in the United States. It has been used as a professional baseball stadium since 1910. It was the home ground of the Birmingham Black Barons, a team of the Nigro League founded by black baseball players in protest against racism in the Major League Baseball.

All five black referees will be the first in the Major League. So far, only 11 black referees have played in regular Major League and American League games.

Currently, there are a total of five black referees active in the Major League. They will manage the game at Rickwood Field on Monday. 토토사이트 추천

“The fact that there are enough black judges to form a panel and even have a video review means a lot,” Adrienne Johnson, 49, the referee’s chief referee officer, said in an interview with The Athletic in the U.S. “It took a long time for me to do this. It makes me very happy.”

The Major League hopes that the upcoming match between all black referees will have a positive impact not only on black referees who are active in the Minor League but also on those who dream of becoming referees. Malachi Moore, 34, the youngest of the black referees, was able to become a baseball referee thanks to the encouragement of Curwin Danley, the first black referee team leader in the Major League, while playing as a college player.

One of the referees, CB Buckner, 61, said, “There are more black astronauts (20) than black baseball referees (11 referees),” adding, “We need to foster black referees.”
