Ocean Resort Casino Enters New Jersey Internet Betting Market

GAN, a British gambling technology company, is Ocean Resort’s platform partner for internet gambling. GAN’s CEO, Dermot Smurfitt, said online casinos would be worth an extra 10% to 15% of revenue for Ocean Resorts, which has a younger potential customer base.

“Internet casino players are known to be young and gender neutral compared to the average casino customer who frequently visits Atlantic cities compared to the more than 50 years gambling buffs found in the average casino,” he said.

Seven casino licensees operate internet gambling in New Jersey, including Ocean Resort, a former level casino: Borgata, Golden Nuggets, Hard Rock, Resorts and Tropicana, and other gambling companies that work with Caesars Interactive-NJ. Atlantic City casinos, including Caesars and Harrus, have also been approved for internet gambling in the state.

Internet gambling began in New Jersey in November 2013 and has been steadily increasing. Money earned online at casinos often makes a difference between the months of rise and fall at individual casinos.

Last year, internet gambling brought in $245 million, or about 10% of total revenue, for casinos in Atlantic City. 사설 토토사이트

Along with sports betting that began in New Jersey last month, the casino has two new revenue streams that it lacks during a brutal two-year period when five of the city’s 12 casinos closed. Two of them, Level and Trump’s Taj Mahal, reopened last month as Ocean Resorts and Hard Rock, respectively.
