LEE SECURE’S 4.1 BILLION WON IN SPECIAL GRANTS TO BUILD NEW gymnasiums IN NORTH PYONGYANG AND TAEBAEK MIDDLE SCHOOL’S

Middle school gymnasiums in Donghae, Taebaek, and Samcheok will be newly built or renovated, significantly improving the educational environment .Representative Lee Chul-kyu (Donghae, Taebaek, Samcheok, Jeongseon) announced in a press release on the 6th that he secured a total of 4.03 billion won in special grants from the Ministry of Education for the second half of 2023.

The Ministry of Education special grants secured this time are 1.88 billion won for the construction of a gymnasium at Bukpyeong Middle School in Donghae City, 1.49 billion won for the construction of a gymnasium at Taebaek Middle School in Taebaek City, and 761 million won for the repair of the exterior wall of Samcheok Middle School in Samcheok City.

Bukpyeong Middle School’s multipurpose room, which was built when it moved to a new school in 2000, is currently too small to accommodate 16 classes (371 students), making it difficult to conduct normal indoor educational activities. Taebaek Middle School also lacks a gymnasium, limiting students’ physical education classes and outdoor activities. Samcheok Middle School will also receive a special grant to repair the outer wall of the teacher’s building to create a safe learning environment. “I am pleased that the special grant will allow students to focus 슬롯게이밍 on their studies in comfortable and safe facilities,” said Rep.
