Fuel prices weighing on local casinos

Marketing experts ironically say soaring gasoline prices are hurting local casinos in Las Vegas more than strip resorts that help with car traffic and air arrivals. The often-quoted reality is that Americans view vacation as a divine right. High gas prices may even force Las Vegas as a cheap destination for more visitors. 온라인경마

But across the U.S., consumers are paying twice as much for gasoline as they did a year ago. And it’s forcing other lifestyle choices. In Los Angeles, locals may give up going to the movies or having dinner. Some say they are cutting their way to the casino, whether they are gambling, shopping, eating or watching a movie.

A new book by Bob Nersian, a lawyer in Las Vegas, is a book that teaches gamblers how to keep their homes at casinos, which, while having an advantage, may not be very popular with casino operators. Nersian warns readers, “Nevada hates you. And it just tolerates you for the cost of doing business.” This is a primer on what skilled gamblers or lucky gamblers should do “sometimes enjoy sleepovers, incarcerate, slander, handcuff and deport them.” But if you’re a beginner at holding on to money that hotel casinos believe is their thing, right or wrong, it’s shocking.

Now, ironically with a twist of fate, Quebec could become a fake Las Vegas for European visitors.

What’s the Odds? On July 10, a software engineer from Pacific, Missouri, stamped a Royal Flush on a Rat Ride machine at the Imperial Palace Hotel. Duke Matlock won a total of $25,000 and $20,000 for playing a bonus game. According to the Internet, the odds of getting a Royal Flush on Let It Ride are 1 in 649,740.
