In Pennsylvania, Penn National’s Hollywood Casino, Valley Forge Casino Resort and Parks Casino in October once again led all 16 of Pennsylvania’s land-based casinos, with only a modest overhaul compared to last month, and the Pennsylvania Game Control Board (PGCB) on Thursday reported another strong performance from sports betting and record iGaming revenue.
Total revenue from all PGCB-regulated sources of gaming revenue, including slot machines, table games, internet games, sports betting, fantasy contests, and video game terminals (VGTs), rose 5.71% to $450.2 million from $425.9 million in October, according to the report.
Meanwhile, sportsbooks’ all-time highs in Keystone State totaled $797.1 million last month, up 2.7% from last October’s (previous sportsbook handle records) to $776.3 million and $151.9 million.
Pennsylvania online casinos, including poker, also hit an all-time high for the month of October, bringing total revenue to $151.7 million, about $4 million more than the $147.7 million total revenue record set by Pennsylvania’s online casinos in March 2022.
