The top Korean baseball league announced Monday it will start showing key games on big screens run by the country’s largest multiplex operator.

The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) said it signed an agreement with CJ CGV to put one regular season game per week and all of its postseason games in the fall at select CGV theaters.

The first regular season game to be screened at CGV theaters will be the tilt between the defending Korean Series champions LG Twins and the NC 안전 Dinos starting at 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets for this game will go on sale at 11 a.m. Tuesday on CGV’s mobile app and website. The game will be shown at four locations in Seoul, the Twins’ home city, and one theater in Changwon, the Dinos’ home in South Gyeongsang Province.

CGV will also show the annual All-Star Game, scheduled for July 6 in the western city of Incheon. CGV will also sponsor a midgame event during the fifth-inning stretch, titled “CGV Cleaning Time Show.”

The KBO said its own app and website will also provide information on future games to be shown at CGV theaters.

CGV played the 2023 Korean Series last fall and drew hundreds of fans as the Twins defeated the KT Wiz in five games for their first title in 29 years.
